How we work

A clear path from first conversation to finished work.

  1. Wired Nurse Call Systems

Hardwired nurse call solutions for new builds and major refurbishments, covering room call points, corridor displays and central annunciation across wards, wings and whole facilities.

  2. Wireless Nurse Call Systems

Radio-based nurse call setups suited to retrofits, heritage buildings and staged rollouts where cabling is impractical, including pendants, pull cords and portable receivers.

  3. Call Points, Alarms and Annunciators

Patient call buttons, bedhead units, ensuite pull cords, staff attendance points, overdoor lights and audible or visual alarm devices to suit a range of care environments.

  4. Accessories, Spares and Replacement Parts

Supporting components such as leads, pendants, mounting plates, power supplies and replacement modules to maintain or expand systems already in service.

PART ONE

Call points, alarms and annunciators

What each device does, and where it earns its place. All of it sits alongside wired or wireless equipment, so the same room can be fitted either way.

Patient call buttons

The simplest way for a resident to ask for help. Hand-held or fixed, they suit bedrooms, lounges and day areas where a full bedhead unit isn't needed. See the shop range.

Bedhead units

Fitted at the head of the bed, with call, cancel and reassurance indication in one plate. The usual choice for ward and residential bedrooms on a hardwired nurse call installation.

See Bedhead units

Ensuite pull cords

A cord reachable from the floor, for the room where falls are most likely. Common in aged care ensuites and accessible bathrooms, and easy to add on a wireless retrofit.

Staff attendance points

Pressed by staff on arrival so a call is logged as answered and, where fitted, an assistance call can be raised from the same room.

Overdoor lights

Corridor annunciation staff can read from a distance. Colours and flash patterns show which room is calling and what kind of call it is.

Audible and visual alarms

Sounders and beacons for noisy plant rooms, large open areas or wings where nobody is in line of sight. Often paired with wireless receivers on staged rollouts.

PART TWO

Spares for an existing nurse call installation

Systems rarely fail all at once. A cord frays, a pendant stops transmitting, a power supply drops out. Holding a small stock of the right parts keeps rooms in service instead of out of use.

Leads and pendants

The parts residents handle every day, and the first to wear. Replacement leads and pendants let you swap a faulty unit at the bedside rather than take a room offline while a service call is booked.

Mounting plates and fixings

Back plates, surrounds and fixings for when a device is knocked, painted over during a refurbishment or moved to a new position. Useful when a wing is being repainted and the old plates no longer sit flush.

Power supplies

Panels, receivers and overdoor lights all rely on stable power. A spare supply on the shelf turns a day of downtime into a short swap for the maintenance team.

Replacement modules

Modules and internal components to repair or extend a system already in service, so a facility can add rooms in stages instead of replacing everything at once.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions we're asked most

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I work out which replacement part I need?
Send us the markings on the device — make, model and any part number on the label or back plate — along with a photo of the front and rear. Tell us what the unit does now and what has failed. We'll review it and point you to a part that suits your equipment. If anything is unclear, we'll ask before we quote.
Can I add call points to a system already in service?
Often you can. It depends on the system on site and how much spare capacity the panel or receiver has. Let us know the make of the existing equipment and how many rooms you want to cover, and we'll help work out what the expansion needs.
Do these devices suit wired and wireless systems?
Call points, pull cords, overdoor lights and alarm devices are made in versions for both. Hardwired equipment suits new builds and major refurbishments; radio-based equipment suits retrofits, heritage buildings and staged rollouts. Read the wired range or the wireless range to see how each is put together.
Why keep spares on hand?
A worn cord or a failed power supply can take a bedroom out of use until a part arrives. Facilities that hold a small stock of leads, pendants and common modules can swap them the same day and keep the rest of the nurse call installation running normally.
How do I get pricing?
Pricing depends on the devices, the quantities and where the goods are going, so we quote each enquiry rather than list a figure. Send your requirements — including any drawings or schedules if you're going to tender — and we'll come back with pricing and availability.
